Yesterday Nicholas Kristoff of the NY Times wrote an opinion piece about paying teachers more. This is my favourite teaching book. A quick note to say that the KS 2 Teachers Toolkit that I put together for SEARCH hands-on science centre in Gosport is now available to download from their website. I've just added a link to The Teacher's Toolkit. The second installment looked at gross domestic product. I was interested in the topic, so read the piece. A few months ago we had another crazy idea. The Atlanta Fed launched an animated video series last April with a primer on inflation. Over the past three years, at our annual Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention Summits, we have heard the same call by educators-– teachers want to help stop bullying, but they don't know how. Last month, the Region 13 Educator Certification Program launched a new website providing teachers with a variety of instructional tools to energize lessons and engage students.
